German Insurance Company utilized iGlades Business Intelligence platform to streamline internal processes and analyze product and customer information.

Challenge

Governmental Regulations and competitive challenges forced the company to focus on meeting its business goals by introducing new products to tailored to fit customer needs. Company needed to integrate new and existing applications and implement a data warehousing solution that centralized customer and product data.

Solution

• In order to build a centralized system with comparable line-by-line data, iGlades took up the time-consuming task of defining key terms, agreed on data modeling designs and discussed the various methods of data analysis to integrate data from a wide range of products including life, accident, disability, health, automobile, general liability, and other insurance services on to a centralized data warehouse.
• With over 7.0 million insurance policies in force and the various lines of coverage, the ability to deal with a complex sales and product structure in metrics and models was essential to the undertaking of a centralized system.
• Data Warehouse was integrated with Business intelligence technology (OLAP tools) against a Unix-based Oracle data warehouse to pull up valuable customer information and run online reports using Cognos.
